When coring through and area that already has cables laid, without propper blue prints it is a concern that when coring you will hit reinforced steel or cabling.

We scan to locate reinforcing steel (rebar), post tension cables (stress cables),
electrical conduits and other services in concrete slabs and walls that might get in the
way when we are coring.

The system can also detect voids under concrete slabs and measure concrete slab thickness.

Rebar and post tension cables can be scanned and mapped directly onto the slab using
our concrete ground penetrating radar - we only scan concrete .
